Dyno'd today, put down 592rwhp 548rwtq Changes since my last dyno were 4" intake pipe, full return fuel setup, picked up 4psi, better air (last dyno was in the summer heat). This was done on 110 for safety, ice in the intercooler, short belt and bogies. Ran it up to about 58-5900rpms. I'm gonna put a methanol kit on and then go back for that 6xx dyno :iceslolan

Track times to come soon!

lol ... I'm coming for you. Our initial dyno was 493 rwhp and that was on our old, conservative map and we hadn't started to realy boost yet. Regardless, your torque numbers will eat us up ... of course, we can rev to 8500 rpms ;)

Thanks guys! Actually, we'll find out tomorrow :) I didn't get the alky kit installed in time to make it for Tuesday, but now I'm all set for tomorrow. Air should be really good, mid-low 50's, 45% humidity (at least that's the forecast). If I can hook it should be a good night. :iceslolan

Well, nothing yet. My fuel curve is still jacked in first & second gear, but above 50mph I'm good :banghead:

So now it's on to a standalone controller and a set of 72lb injectors :iceslolan Screw all this bandaid and crazy fuel pressure crap.

Well well. I was hoping you had a 10 second (or low 7/high 6 second 1/8th for that matter) pass to brag about.

Wow, some serious power. You know.. after a year and a half of waiting, there is now a tuner for my truck.. (and UPS just delivered it.) Aiming for 430 RWHP and the truck is at about 3700 pounds... You said yours is at about 4000? Kinda using yours as a benchmark to see about where I will stand at the track.

Awesome work on your truck though, youll prolly be hearing from me more soon. ;)

Glad to hear they finally came out with a tuner for your truck, keep us posted! My truck with me in it is probably closer to 41-4200. A buddy of mine just weighed his truck on Sunday, 4120 with him in it, I have about 40lbs on him, plus the blower/intercooler setup. But then again, in full race trim I drop 136lbs with the Bogarts. One of these days I'll get her on a scale. I have my megasquirt controller and injectors, I'm just not gonna be able to put them in until probably August, then once I get it tuned in, we'll see what she can do. For now I dropped the boost back down to keep her alive. Ran 12.5@103 in full street trim (letting off, brackets) on Sunday, I'll run her full out on low boost next week, but it'll be down in Atlanta (hot!), so I'm not expecting too much. This fall I'll go for 10's :iceslolan

Glad to see lil' Red is making some damn nice #'s. Don't see why she wouldn't crack a 10.xx though.
When are you going to be in Atlanta? I'm ~ 30 miles North of the city.... we might could hook up-

Sorry I didn't see your message, I was just in Atlanta over the weekend. We ran at Silver Dollar, my best for the day was only a 12.5@108, but that was on 8psi and running rich. After I'm done with the move, I'll be putting the standalone in, and the pulley will go back on. I did win the brackets tho, so I'm really happy about that, I've never gotten past the 2nd round LOL I'm pretty confident she'll see a 10 this fall. I finally put her on the scale too, 4100 on the nose with me in it, 1/4 tank of gas, full set of Bogarts and the front sway bar removed. So it's probably around 4270ish in full street trim, and then throw a full tank of gas on top of that

Glad to see everyone's getting back to the track. I finished mine up this past weekend, so I'm just putting some easy miles on the new tranny. Last upgrades were a new tranny, fuddle 3800 stall, and now I've bought myself a set of 200 shot pills. Gonna see what she's made of this year. :evillol:

The fuddle 3800 is amazing to say the least. This thing is launching like a man. Can't wait to get the tranny broke in so I can make more than a 60ft pass at wot. :grinyes:

Good luck to everybody on the quest for 10s this year. I'm going for it all in Nov at the shootout.

What are you hoping to trap at???
Something tells me your truck weighs in more than 4000 pounds.
I know the F-Body's are pigs...but my WS.6 weighed in at 3590 without me.

Good luck on furthering the truck!!!
You guys and your power adders.....

Well, I trapped 120 last year peddling it on the topend, I'm hoping for 123-125 and a low, low 11, maybe crack a 10 in good weather. Then maybe I'll build a real engine and get serious

Awesome, can't wait to see how you run. I'll be going to a 3800 stall as well, hopefully by this fall. I'll be redoing the rearend here shortly too, the stock rear with 86K miles on it was acting up at the Nats, couldn't get a good burnout to save my life. I was gonna do a locker, but I think I'm going to compromise with and Auburn and 4.10's :iceslolan

Here it is, it's not a good scan tho. The 529rwhp pull was on my "street" tune, pulling timing like I normally do on 93 octane. The 592 was with 110 in the tank to be safe. I have an alky kit on the truck now, but need to get a smaller nozzle for it. Once I get the MegaSquirt installed, I'll dyno again with just pump gas and methanol, see what she can do. Then for the most important part, I'll get back to the track and see if I can't get a new best :iceslolan

Oh, and ignore the a/f readings, his a/f monitor was off, it was pig rich for the run, 10.0-10.5 on my wideband.

wow lol makes me want to throw a blower on my 383 sbc goin into my old c-10. (lol not a 383 mopar, its a 350 chevy bore +.030 with a 400 crank.)

i bet your truck is well under 4000 pounds because my fullsize 73 c-10 weighs about 3900-4000 pounds with no people in it lol

I finally got it on a scale, 4100lbs on the nose with me in it and a 1/4 tank of gas. That's with the front swaybar removed and a full set of Bogarts (they drop 136lbs from the stock wheels). But I also run with a fiberglass tonneau (easily over 100lbs) and the tailgate, full interior, etc. She's going on a diet this winter, should be able to drop about 200lbs. Also have a new shortblock in the works, hoping to have it done by the spring, we'll see.

haha i wonder how much power a hummer H1 needs to run a 12 in the quarter!!! my family has a 30 foot "5th wheel" camper that fully loaded weighs 1000 pounds LESS than the H1!!! those beasts are 4 tons!!! how the hell lol thats twice what my all-steel fullsize weighs. they better be battle ready or something like that cause thats freakin rediculous. if i ever see a typical hummer driver who never off-roads thier shiny chromed out hummer complain about gas prices, im gonna slap them in the face :-)
