The rear valve cover on my 97 Riveria Supercharged is leaking on the lower driver side corner. It leaks onto the exhaust manifold and I can smell oil smoke while stopped.
Anyway, is there a way to fix the leak without having to remove all the parts on the top of the engine to get to it?
Also, the 3 auto parts stores I called for parts, said the valve cover gaskets and grommets for the VIN 1 (supercharged) are different than the VIN K non-supercharged. Why is that? The non-supercharged are $14 and the supercharged are $60. What's up with that?
