Sideways roll...

I have noticed recently that my 2002 Jeep GC overland has developed a roll type drive especially on a curvy road. It seems to rock back and forth sideways and at times borders on loss of control. Am I having shock problems or do I need a new steering stablizer. I was underneath looking and noticed what appeared to be a shock absorber mounted horizontally. It doesn't seem to be leaking any fluid....anyone else have this problem or give me an idea on what it my be...thanks...jwb

I would get an inspection, this sounds like you may have a safety issue... To develop the feeling like the vehicle is going to have you lose control there may be something you might overlook. Get a safety check done on a lift b4 you start guessing at bad parts. But from your brief explanation I would check the track bar

I'd check the stablizer link arm, because they can disconnect/break at either the top where it connects to the arm, or where it connects to the axle on the bottom. With that not on right, it will greatly effect how the jeep steers.

It could be a failed bushing on your swaybars. I'd start there, and if you can't find anything wrong have your suspesion checked before you end up where you don't want to be.
