I am so sick about what I did today. It's at my mechanic right now getting drained, plugs replaced, and new fuel filter. My question is: did I do lonterm damage to the engine, cause extra wear and tear? I only drove it 15 miles when I realized what I had done. I am very worried about what I did today. Please advise, I would truly appreciate it. Thanks.

How did you make it 15 miles without seeing clouds of blue smoke billowing out of the exhaust???

I always thought the gas nozzle on Diesel was bigger than the gas tank filler hole on a regular gas vehicle to keep just that from happening. :dunno:

it is bigger. Weird! FWIW, my Dad accidentally put diesel in his motorcycle once and it survived just fine. One of the most brilliant mechanics and fabricators ever and he couldn't tell the difference between his Mercedes and his motorcycle that day! GO figure!
