Lower suspension arm bracket snapped off of front axel would it be safe to have it welded back on? or should i swap out a junkyard unit at 450.00?

Just grind and weld

Although a weld can make it stronger than original, I'm a fan of putting on a new/used part. Welding it might make a change in the steering geometry and affect the ride and handling.
