This intake will fit 96 - 01 cavalier or sunfire 2.2 engines.

it wont fit onto a 2.4 liter? cavy ofcourse, 97, a damn good looking one at that.

that thing is a piece of crap...it dosnt even hook up 2 the throttle body...:-/

This will fit 1996 - 2001 Chevy cavalier or Pontiac sunfires. The item also fits 2.2L and 2.4L engines. The item hooks up to some of there throttle bodies and others it will hook up to that part that sais 2200 or whatever on the top of your engines valve cover.

if its custom made specifically for a cavalier...then it should....thats how you can tell the parts that were made for multipul applications....its not a piece of crap because it dosnt work because im sure it does.
you should see my intake lol its not even and intake its a piece of pipe with an air filter attached to it

how can it be cold air, it it just replaces where the original airbox, but doesn't go down to get cold air from inside of the fender or ground????

His just attaches to the rubber hose connected to the throttle body, no big deal. My CAI does the same thing.

And niccaleb is right, that isnt a true cold air intake.

Yeah i know how it attaches thanks. I know about warm air and cold air intakes. And it seems to be a warm to me but see all sites consider it a cold air though its not really. So i just listen to them if there selling them i hope they would know something
