I recently bought a 2000 GLX passat. From a stop the gas pedal is very touchy. When I just want to pull out and not throw myself into the seat (although it is good at this and I do enjoy it) but seem to not be able to "feather" the gas pedal to do this. Is this a problem? The mechanic told me that it was normal. I think that it is too responsive. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.
