94' Accord Starts Then Dies

WATSUP GUYS?....GOTTA BRAIN CLOT OVER HERE....MY 94'ACCORD STARTS THEN SHUTS OFF....CODE READS;IGNITION OUTPUT SIGNAL...SO I CHANGED DISTRIBUTOR,RELAYS,FUSES,PLUGS....(CHECKED SPARK WIRES TOO)...EVEN FUEL PRESSURE(REGULATORS,PUMP & FILTERS ALSO!!!)....SMAE PROBLEM....SAME CODE!!!!I'M @ MY WITS END GUYS CAN SOMEBODY....ANYBODY????PLEEESE HELP.....MAHALO,JLH808...NORTH SHORE OF OAHU.:banghead: :dunno:

i believed that i had a similiar problem. i took it to the mechanic shop and the chip the mechanic found it under the steering wheel, under the fuses section.

that's all i could help you man. i don't really know the technical name for that chip called.

you could check to see if you recognize the chip.

Did a search and those are the threads relevant to the problem, although they have varying answers and just trouble-shooting advice. Basically, I'd start by getting a service manual (Helms) if you don't already have one, it's a great resource. Then I'd start by checking out the Ignition Control Module and the Ignition Switch, and the wiring associated with them. There is probably where your problem lies. Lastly, I'd find a ECU pin diagram, and make sure the correct wires were not severed (rare, but it does happen).

Anything in any of those threads about the main relay or fuel system, I'd ignore for now.
