92 Buick PA Starting problembigeel0 03-23-2006, 11:42 PM I have a 92 Buick PA. Sometimes when I turn off the ignition, it fails to start up right away. It takes about 10-30 minutes before she will turn over again. I have read some forum comments similiar to this except when driving. Is the cam sensor the problem or something heating something up to do this? Art mau 09-13-2006, 01:27 PM I have 92 Park Avenue sometimes when I turn off the ignition, it fails to sart up . Some times takes 15- 30 minutes befor and is turn over again. Bassasasin 09-13-2006, 02:29 PM Have you seen any codes stored? You may not have a Check engine light! But have a code. Very hard to diagnose without more checks. Could be heat related, could be sensors. Could be flooding. Lots of stuff. Good Luck. rhandwor 09-29-2006, 09:34 PM When you say turn over this indicates a bad battery, battery cable or starter. A motor that is out of time is a lot harder to start. Check battery voltage and the amps the alternator is putting out. Make sure the ground strap is not loose. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
