A big car dealer in Salt Lake City say that my car need a new fuel pump and a fuel filter. Those two parts and the labour they will charge me $750.00. Is this the typical cost of fixing such a problem folks?

$600-700 is average for just the pump alone, i'd shop around though, im sure you can get lower then 750 somewhere in a big city
