2000 Camry CE 53K for around 8500. Is is worth it?

Fairly low mileage. Below book price. Sounds pretty good. If you're not mechanically inclined have a mechanic look it over for potential problems.

One well known problem with them has been the "Sludge Problem". Old oil coagulates, creating sludge and eventual engine failure. If you change your oil at a reasonable interval you shouldn't have a problem. I understand Toyota has extended the warranty to 8 years to cover it.

Keep in mind you'll have a timing belt change coming up in about another 30K miles. Costs about $250 to change. Also make sure this isn't a Katrina car that's been flooded. You're only a few hundred miles away from the region.

Thanks for the advice, i just has it looked at, the only thing that needs attention is the left CV Boot. had it done for $75. Other then that i will replace the rims, because i have 3 good one and one spare and one busted. So if anybody is looking for 14" progressive PRO23's let me know.
