just wanted to tell everyone my car got fixed and thanx for all the advice it really helped me through the whole process.... now that my car is back i am back to experieimenting of course:wink:.... my new question or questions are... one my back window works on and off... sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt... any ideas? can i fix it myself?
my next question is i have two 10" subs that i was to put in the back but do not want to get an amp. is this even possible? can i hook my subs up without getting an amp? and how?
thanx!

The window is a problem in the motor itself. There is a thermal limiter that will fail intermittently (does the window work when it's cold out and not when it warms up?). Subs need more power than a stock stereo pushes, so there's no point to installing them without an amp. They also need a crossover to limit the frequencies sent to them because high frequencies will damage sub-woofers. If your car has the Bose stereo, there is a separate factory low frequency amp that may be powerful enough to run 2 10"s, and you could connect them through the rear speaker wiring, but if you don't have Bose, you'll need an amp.
