Laguna 2 rear brake pad replacement question

Do the rear brake calipers wind back anticlockwise or clockwise when pushing the piston back with a wind back tool. And are there any pointers you can tell me about to watch out for when replacing the pads

Many thanks in advance

The norm is to wind clockwise.

As for tips, (obviously) open the cap off the brake fluid reservior and place some rags around it in case it overflows when you rewind the piston or syphon some out (don't go below MIN mark though)

Also, if the piston is hard to turn (some require pushing and turning rather than simple turning), turn in anti-clockwise for about a quarter of a turn before turning it clockwise and that should make it work better.... You might need an assistant though to make the job easier as one can hold the caliper firmly.
