92 Voyager 3.3 dies, won't stay runnigdemotors 03-20-2006, 07:51 PM Died on road. Won't stay running for long. Backfires through intake. Won't set a code. Replaced MAP sensor. Started hard ran long enough to move car into driveway, died. From other posts, sounds like fuel pump. Does anyone know what pressure should be? Don't want to buy new pump only to get burned like with MAP sensor. I'm a Chevy Guy - I'm on my third Astro van '97 - AWD - 3" Gibson exhaust, Volant intake, Hypertech - runs mid 17's at 78mph (don't laugh) 21+ mpg on highway, 131k miles. Replaced fuel pump when it died. This Voyager is a "Family Heirloom" with 80k miles. If it was up to me it would at the crusher getting turned into a "lowrider". Help! :shakehead Stevo2 03-21-2006, 03:55 AM Died on road. Won't stay running for long. Backfires through intake. Won't set a code. Replaced MAP sensor. Help! :shakehead Fuel pressure is 48 lbs(+/-2) If you need a pump, don't get a cheap one or it will fail quick. Timing chain slip a tooth? Will it run/start good with starting fluid or a bit of gas in the throttle body? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
