Hey guys I found a 98 Ford Escourt ZX2. It has a 5speed manual trans and is fully loaded. It has Low km the ad says I'm gonna call tomorrow to get an exact number. But are these cars worth $6000 canadian. Oh it also comes with a one year warrenty. Also I want a car I can race with agasint say a Civic. I wanna make it a tuner or something.

a stock well driven ZX2 will beat a 02-05 Si, and a ZX2 with a intake, pully and chip or PCM will tie/edge a 99-00 Si (SiR in canada).

the zx2 is only 130HP, but it has 127tq and will put more tq to the ground then a 99-00 Si has at the crank. What it lacks in top end, it makes up for in tq curve.

It's a 15.7-9 car, full bolt-ons, and a good SCT tune will have a good driver in the 14's.

The differential is weak though(it was designed by mazda to go to a guless 1.8l motor), long as its not beat hard it will last with some good power.
