Well the PMan thought he would jump on board with all you others that are posting F1 cars etc.
This was one of the very first models i every done years ago, but never done anymore F1/Indycars since. (I think it was about the 2nd-3rd kit i built)
This one here is the Nigel Mansell Tamiya Snap-Loc kit that come out years ago.
Most of it is painted by brush....even some of the body panels
(yes, even the PMan painted a few bodies by brush..lol:p :p )....no parts sanded...no tyres sanded...primmer, what that stuff for?? ... just paint and assemble !!!
It's quite good to see how you improve over the years and things you pick up along the way.
You guys all posting your great looking F1's is getting me in the mood to built some more !!

(or maybe its just me) Anyways, P-man, you are great now and looks like you were a natural then too. thanks for sharing and making us newbies feel inadequate... jk

If you made such a work in your third model I can hardly imagine what you can do building a modern F1 car with your current skill and practice.
I share with you the first car I’ve built, about ten years ago.
It’s the Tamiya Tyrrell 34 Six Wheeler. It gave me such a pleasure to build that I never touched a plane our a tank again. :D

even so still a good looking build p/man but please please please
DO NOT put F-1
and indycars in the same sentance again!
everyone knows F-1 is the daddy of motorsport the only good thing that ever was about indies is they managed to get Mansell out of the U.K for a couple of years!! (why oh why did he ever return?)

p.s are you sure you're NOT a robot? just finished the porsche(very nice) and started the type-r already??

That still looks good P-Man, I had the same kit and believe me it looked a hell of a lot worse. I retired it to the bin along time ago.:(

I guess your trip wont include Indy Cars ;) ;)

Your very lucky being able to see all those type of racers almost on your door step.
I'd kill to be able to see a F1/BTCC/GTSports cars etc etc race live

Indy cars do they have them in canada?
I will be going to rockingham in sept. for the u.k round of the champ cars
btcc racing isn't as good as it used to be everyone is using vauxhall
astra's now there's no variety like there used to be when toyota, alfa and
co. were in it!
F-1 is good live on telly but you can't beat the real thing, was at the
Italian g.p last sept. i'm lucky my aunt lives in milan about five mins walk from one of the gates for the monza circuit.
But rallying is my all-time fave!!
