i was wondering a couple things:
1. can you use a different dodge's remote and program it to work with the avenger (with same number of buttons...like the dodge r/t)?

2. can you install a remote trunk release?

3. can you rewire the box inside the car so that it honks when you lock the car?

1997 Dodge Avenger ES

The 96-99 Avengers use a specific remote, which is actually a Mitsubishi system. It is not interchangeable with other Dodge remotes.
