starting problem

ever once in awhile my jeep battery goes dead after charging for 8 hours its fine for about a month then the same same happens again is their a way to check charging system without going to a battery shop

It sounds like your battery's a goner, but it could be the alternator or regulator too. Take the car to Kragen or Auto Zone or other auto stores, they'll run a battery test for free.
