My 2000 Crown Vic PI has been diagnosed with a drivers side exhaust manifold leak. My question is how much should this cost to fix? Also where would be the cheapest place to get the part?
One last thing will driving the car with leak cause any further damge?
Thanks in advance.

More than likely you have an exhaust stud broken off. Sometimes they are hard to remove and are time consuming. If it is the manifold cracked, there is a possbility some of the studs may break off during removal. The exhaust leak will not do any more damage to the vehicle. It may cause some drivibility concerns, but no serious damage should occur.

Check engine light may come on due to a wrong sensor reading and cause the PCM to try to correct with more fuel to compensate for the air entering the exhaust causing a drop in fuel mileage. It will pose no serious problems for the near future though.
