NEW F1 QUALIFYING – almost thereTim12 03-16-2006, 09:13 AM Thumbs up to the new qualifying system. With a few tweaks it could be the perfect Saturday build up to the race. The knockout sessions were so much more exciting than last year’s boring format. Seeing everyone on the track in a mad rush after Kimi crashed out was just like qualifying of old. If they could just change the silly system in the final session that had 15 minutes of the worlds best drivers lapping at granny speeds to burn off fuel, we would have a perfect hour! What does everyone think? I also found some cool sites while I was surfing the net during the hour build-up to the race. The live timing screen on the official F1 site www.formula1.com (http://www.formula1.com/) is superb, especially when ITV don’t give enough information. Here’s to everyone getting out of bed early for the Mylasian GP on Sunday. Coverage starts at 6.00am!! RallyRaider 03-16-2006, 08:01 PM A quallifying system that requires race fuel levels at any stage is a farce as far as I'm concerned. For me the Malaysion GP will be during daylight hours. :) Although yet to see if it will be broadcast live in Australia. :( RallyRaider 03-16-2006, 08:09 PM Fuck. Just checked the TV guide and it is delayed untill 10:30 pm. Fuckin fuckers. Ssom 03-16-2006, 10:26 PM That's what I love about Sky Sport, I get to watch the Qualifying and Race live :D I doubt either'll be in daylight though, 7 PM NZ time :( TRUBO_89 03-16-2006, 10:36 PM 1:30am here in the good ol US of A jcsaleen 03-18-2006, 08:03 AM OK For all you U.S guys like me.
