My cars always hesitates when i shift into higher gears if i am not going at least over 3000 RPMS. It seems to be the ignition coils and plugs. There is a carbon path along the side of all my spark plugs, one spark plug, (wire handled) had black carbon residue caked around the bottom of the ceramic insulator (white part). I have changed my coils and wires and spark plugs at least 3 times each. I can't afford it anymore. Anyone have a solution?

Very odd. Are you using the correct plugs and good quality wires?

I also put some shrink tubing around the ceramic insulator to help prevent the arcing down the side....and some dielectric gel too.
