Side moolding removal.nightstalker0628 03-11-2006, 01:25 PM I have a 1988 k-5 Blazer. I want to remove the side molding so i can paint it. is there any tips you can give me so i dont scratch the paint beacuse whe ni try now i kend up scratching it. the only way i have been able to remove it has been with a putty knife. They are available at any of the home improvement stores, Lowes, HD, Ace. Using a plastic putty knife will reduse the chances of scratching your truck.
