I am really into this thing and don't want to pull the dash. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It looks like I should just be able to get it out, but I can't get to the rear bolts.

You don't have to pull the dash, but pulling back the carpet will help you some (seriously). That and your favorite 1/4 drive rachet... sometimes when its a particularly tricky spot, I use an allen wrench inside of the socket, instead of the rachet, it may give you a little more clearance.
