'02 T/A vs. F-22 fighter jet...CreepingDeath94 03-09-2006, 11:44 PM who would win? 97cavalier 03-09-2006, 11:45 PM lol, is this a serious question? duh the t/a,lol. i am shure it would if Mr.luos could hook some wigs on the bird. Fuzzy_C 03-10-2006, 12:21 AM totally the t/a, cause a fire bird can fly faster than an f-22 and a t/a is faster than a fire bird... CreepingDeath94 03-10-2006, 11:02 AM yea, sweet. A guy at work has a F-22 and he wanted to race for pinks. Now I know I will crush him... DarkblueTA 03-11-2006, 09:54 AM yea, sweet. A guy at work has a F-22 and he wanted to race for pinks. Now I know I will crush him... I hope that the F22 doesn't have the F119 engines installed at the time. If so, you're a gonner. Having seen the F22 in action at Nellis and Langley AFB's, they only use 1/4 of the run way to take off with(important part) NO AFTERBURNER! I wouldn't race him for pinks unless its 1/8 mile...but I will say that if you can do that go for it. LOL Otherwise you'll get smooooked. :grinyes: doodad 03-11-2006, 11:01 AM what the hell ios f-22? those army planes? Philo 03-11-2006, 04:22 PM OK, so you get what if you win? Unless this is Uncle Sam you are racing, he doesn't own the F-22, and anyway, there is no pink for it. And you can bet he will be using afterburner - he will win if he can. And if he is caught he will be looking out through the bars (not the ones where they serve drinks). An F-22 has probably four times the power of an F102, and I know that in afterburner the F-102 cannot be held with the brakes. If I were you, I would put my pink away. DarkblueTA 03-11-2006, 11:33 PM what the hell ios f-22? those army planes? F22 = USAF stealth tactical fighter. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d38/darkblueta/f22-04.jpg It has 2 F100-119 Pratt & Whitney engines. Its a twin-spool augmented turbofan engine that produces 35K+ pounds of thrust(real # is classified). Also has thrust vectoring so the rear of the engine, its exhaust can be pointed to help the aircraft turn, so the F22 turns on a dime. First flight was September 1997 and First production delivery was Feb 2001. All the missles/bombs that the F22 can carry are inside of the aircraft, not on the outside like the F15/F16/etc. The bay doors open up and out comes the missle/bomb. If you are going up against an F22...kiss your ass good by. I worked out at Nellis AFB for 9 months on the F100-220 engines(one of 2 engines that power the F15 and F16) and 8 F15s went up against 2 F22s and 15 minutes later, they all landed because the F22's already 'shot down' the F15s. :eek7: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
