The idea of a single turbo is maximum power. Twins are usually set up in a sequential configuration; one smaller and one larger to deliver a smoother powerband. Single is usually quite a bit of lag, then monstrous boost.

Not much lag when running a cammed 364ci LS1.

Single turbo...85% tuned he was making 730 RWHP.
My old Lunati cam was in that Trans Am years ago.

Single turbo > twins (At least in my opinion, don't really know how to explain it though)

TTi kit. TTi is the name of the place that makes the kit. Looks like twin turbo though.

Supra's are inline 6'..not V6. Twin or single, Turbo'd LS1s are fun :smokin:

Maybe in your little civics have lag :grinyes: but there is very little if any lag on a v8 car.

AWESOME!!! I loved it and the sound of the T/A!!

I raced what I thought was a turbo Nissan 300ZX or twin, I don't know. Anyway, it was with my 92 5.0 5spd. pushing about 280hp. So I thought "man, this will probably smoke my ass". We take off, dead even (stock 2.73 gears for me). Then I hit 2nd and I say........C-YA....Z!!! Then we pulled over and he said "good race man". I said What? Did you miss 2nd? I thought I was going to have major bragging rights. He says, "Oh no, this isn't a turbo car". I thought "DAMN"!! Guess I can't talk shit now.
