What are the redlines on the S13 S14 and S15 engines. And when does the VVT kick in on the S14 and S15.

S13 SR's actually have the highest redline at 7500 RPM
S14 and S15 SR have a redline of 7250 RPM
The S13 SR has a higher redline because it has a a "high-port" intake manifold. The higher ports give you a straighter shot into the combustion chamber. The "low-port" SR's (S14 and S15) have smaller ports and a tighter bend leading to the intake valves. That's why the S13 SR has a higher redline. Those redline numbers are where the redline starts on the tach.
