bad shocks???circeseye 03-09-2006, 02:49 AM ive noticed when driving my 96 pathy when i give it gas the rear end drops alot lower then i would expect. if i floor it it drops WAY down and it feels like i hit bottom. ive checked the springs they look solid. and the pathy doesnt bounce when i try jumping up and down on the rear. its just the drop effect just dont seem right any ideas?? nissan_240sx 03-13-2006, 12:04 AM thats pretty normal, I have a 93 path and it does the same thing. When your driving on the highway does it feel like your on a boat? circeseye 03-13-2006, 03:32 AM no actually it drives smooth just when taking off feels wierd. glad its not just me  i really didnt want to put more money into it then i already have the last 2 months since buying it. but it was worth it :grinyes: FixUrNissan 03-13-2006, 06:42 AM i ve seen rear spings weaken on those trucks or bad shocks.. Shocks are cheap and easy to replace i would start there first 88pathoffroad 08-05-2006, 04:24 PM If a bounce test works out OK, why replace the shocks? The rear springs seem to be pretty weak to begin with, and time only worsens them... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
