ive noticed when driving my 96 pathy when i give it gas the rear end drops alot lower then i would expect. if i floor it it drops WAY down and it feels like i hit bottom. ive checked the springs they look solid. and the pathy doesnt bounce when i try jumping up and down on the rear. its just the drop effect just dont seem right

any ideas??

thats pretty normal, I have a 93 path and it does the same thing. When your driving on the highway does it feel like your on a boat?

no actually it drives smooth just when taking off feels wierd. glad its not just me :wink: i really didnt want to put more money into it then i already have the last 2 months since buying it. but it was worth it :grinyes:

i ve seen rear spings weaken on those trucks or bad shocks.. Shocks are cheap and easy to replace i would start there first

If a bounce test works out OK, why replace the shocks? The rear springs seem to be pretty weak to begin with, and time only worsens them...
