Lets hear your opinion's on what's the best sports car under $35k...in the USA of course...

Here are some to think about BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

350Z (287HP)
Cobra (390HP)
S2000 (240HP)

My vote for most complete all around car and being a good buy is the Nissan 350Z Track Model coming in at $34k

I'll take a fully optioned WRX over any of those.

But among the choices, I would say the S2000.

I never meant to have you choose from those 3...it was just some suggestions...

BTW though...all the 3 that I suggested are faster than the WRX...course if you add the STi exhaust (as you mentioned), then it becomes faster than 2 of them, but not faster than the Cobra '03. But then...if you add exhaust to either the S2K or the 350Z...they make HP too...

Hell, you could probably even swap in an rb26dett for under 35k... and it would probably kick the shit outta those three ;)

The werks may not be as fast the cobra, but it will decimate it on a track.

MITSU LAN EVO it dominates all, it is the ultimate performance per dollar car probably EVER made. what else does 13flat 1/4 miles while doing 71mph slalom runs for the same money?!?

You say the best sports car, that is pretty vague. Depends on what your "sport" is.

Drag Racing - Mustang
Autocross - S2000
Road Racing - 350Z
Rally Racing - WRX
Picking up underage chicks at the mall - Civic DX with lots of stickers and exhaust (but leased in your mom's name)

Because of the 35K cap - I would say the WS6 is the top dog. Sure, it wont be on the market next year, but its out there right now.

The WS6 might have something in a straight line...but the new Cobra has to have it w/12 second timeslips out of the box...

The WS6 will lose in handling to alot of cars...like the 350Z or S2K...or the new WRX STi or Lancer EVO VII.

It may lose in some of the handling in certain situation, but considering where I drive, its the one I'd rather have for that price range.
