I dont Have a Regal, but i just wanted to know if a 1998 Regal Gs was speed Limited to a point, stock, and does anybody know what they run in the 1/4 mile. i supposed to race one soon STOCK regal GS vs Grand Prix GT ( DHP pcm, 180 tsat, K and N cone, cat back exhaust, performance shift.) i have just little things done< so do i have a chance or what.

The Regal GS does low 15s in the 1/4 mile. 0 - 60 mph around 6.8 seconds. Similar to a Grand Prix GTP with the supercharged 3800.

The GT is a lot slower. Even with the so called limited mods of the GT it is no contest in favor of the Regal GS. Providing you know how to drive and race. Good luck!

well i raced the car b4 and he didnt pull on me like you think i not sayin every regal is the same but i think i can beat this on, he is a everyday driver , and i'm a racer when we race b4 he would pull on me in the 1st and 2nd gears and after that he will about 1 car length ahead and that it he cant pull anymore,and if we go from 70 it's all me, he cant fuck with me, you prob wouldnt believe that < but i always say that those supercharged cars ( stock are just the base car after the superchager is to the full boost and thats a lil bit after 2nd gear, i went to the track b4 i got my DHP and 180 tsat and performance shit/??? and i ran 15.6 1/4 but i havent been lately.

If he's not an experienced driver or can't handle the car then you may have the edge. My '01 Regals GS is just as fast as my GTP when it was stock. With your mods it will probably be down to the driver's skills. The Regal GS has the same horsepower and torque of the L67 Grand Prix GTP. 240 hp and 280 ft-lbs torque. Good luck!

But i always say a defent isnt a defent inless its unexpected, so him being supercharged i expect to lose< does a Regal GS shut off at a certain speed>. I have the Exhaust, PCM, and Intake with Ram Air. so i'm hopin all that little stuff Help me overcome the Supercharged Power the Regal has. But i'm not the type that lie about racing< so i will tell ya'll the outcome> i think i can get him.

off the line he will most definitly take you the GS gets all of it tourque at a lower rpm
