I was wondering what is the best way to clean enamel paint off of brushes. I was thinking of just buying some acrylic paint of the same color, but then thought of asking everyone here.
If you could input your ideas that would be very appriciated.
Thanks
Nick

The stuff i use is a engine de-grease cleaner which is great, it can then be washed off in water

Regular old mineral spirits or white spirits work great. Here's a tip: Have three jars of thinner. Dip the brush in the first jar and swirl it around and swish it against the sides. Dip the brush into the second jar, this time only a little amount of color will be released. By the time you get to the third jar the thinner will be clear no matter how much you swirl your brush. Voila! Clean brushes. Hope this helps.

Look in the hardware store (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.) under their Paint Thinner section. Also, Lacquer Thinner will clean anything, but it's very toxic and may harm some brush bristles.
