a few questions?...GT-R V-Spec 07-02-2002, 11:17 AM I was recently looking on autotrader for a 944 that was near me and was wondering about a few things. i found an 83' fifteen miles away that has 70k miles on it for $5500. I now drive a toyota camry so insurance is expensive for what kind of a car it is $170 a month :( so i'm not really concerned about insurance costs and i'm sure the parts are just as expensive for a camry as for the 944. one thing i wanted to know was how much would a turbo cost to put on one of these cars. one thing i want for this car is for it to be fast cause i'm not getting my need for speed out of a camry. If anyone has any websites that sell performance parts for a 944 list them in your posts please. Any help anyone can give would be much appreciated |Banchi1O5| 07-07-2002, 12:10 AM You cant turbocharge an na 944 but you can supercharge it www.huntleyracing.com but if i were you - i would go for a turbo or a turbo s you can pick them up from around $8-15k(usd) check autotrader.com good luck;) GT-R V-Spec 07-08-2002, 11:08 AM i'll look for one but i need to find one for pretty cheap cause being sixteen w/ a g/f I need to scrounge up the money to buy anything other than a camry:( what i really need is another job then i'm sure i could afford quite a bit but right now i need something for 8k and under so if i can find a turbo i'll get one but i want to get a new car this this spring so i can have some fun with it next summer(sorry for no puncuation) i'll try to find something but then again i'll probably take what i can get... If you can supercharge it, you sure as hell can turbocharge it. The problem is that nobody makes a kit for the 944 while they do make SC kits (Speed Force Racing also has an SC kit). vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
