I have a 90 Civic DX hatchback originnally with 4 speed. I have purchased a 91 Integra B18A motor. What transmissions are compatable with this swap. Is it the YS1 only?? What years and models can I search for to get a tranny?

Can the wiring from the 90 DX with dual port be reworked to work with the multiport FI of the B18A motor by a guy at home or do you have to buy the wiring harness kit?

Any B-series tranny will work, S1, J1, Y1, YS1 (LSD). There are a few instructional websites around although they say it's pretty easy, I didn't want to gamble and sent my stock harness to Hasport to be rewired. $250 bucks later and 2 weeks waiting, my LS powered 88 DX hatch is rollin...Check out Hasport.com , they list exactly what you need and some tech advice...or email me for q's
