WE NEED CARS NOW!!!
This casting call is for the PRIMARY CARS in the movie!

Here are the details:

WEDNESDAY, JULY 3rd, 2002, location TBA announced on www.moviecarZ.com It will most likely be Santa Monica somewhere.
We are specifically looking for these cars:
MR-S, S2000, WRX, Civic, Integra's, NSX's, BMW's, IS300, GS400, Celica, CRX, Eclipse, Focus, Neon, whatever!! Here's how it will work;


Once the location is announced, show up and speak to Craig Lieberman
Civics will be parked with Civics, and so on...when you see a group of your cars, go park with them
DO NOT speak to the Production Team...speak ONLY to Craig Lieberman..."selling" your car to the production team will get you nowhere. Since the team does NOT know the differences between one car and another, Craig has been hired as an Advisor. He will assist in the selection process.
No screwing around...no burnouts, no music bumping, BE PROFESSIONAL.
The location HAS NOT BEEN ANNOUNCED yet but WILL BE ANNOUNCED TUESDAY on www.moviecarZ.com

If selected, here's what to expect;

Your car could be gone for up to six months
Pay rate has not been announced...we've learned that cars in part 1 were paid $100 per day, plus were paid to restore their cars...the average car owner made $25,000 in fees
Your car WILL BE insured by the studio...it will NOT be used for stunts;
Your car MAY be repainted, modified, or altered
www.moviecarZ.com explains the ins and outs of renting cars to the studio...the site is owned and operated by Craig Lieberman who did all the cars for part 1.
Your car WILL be shipped to Florida during some of the filming segments;
NO rental car is provided...if your car is rented, YOU must provide your own alternate transportation;
You MAY be allowed on set during some of the filming, MAYBE....
Logos on your car WILL be changed.
This may be the ONLY casting call in LA...the next one would be in Miami, some time next month.
After the movie, they may opt to buy your car outright, rent it again for promotional appearances, etc.

Wtf is this bullshit they are trying to pull. Got a few answers for them.

1) Your car could be gone for up to six months
Yes I'm sure my car or truck rather would feel real safe on its own in a city somewhere on the other side of the United States. If I were to enter I better be going with it.

The turnout don't seem as big as I thought it would be.

theres way more just not in that photoalbum... I had the links to others but lost them

I agree,it seems the fast stuff is always the ugly stuff

Ya know right before I clicked the link to the photo gallery I thought that there was a one in a million chance that this movie would have some nice and fast import and domestic cars but just like I knew it would be I opened it up to see rows and rows of stupid, gaudy, underpowered (most likely), ugly, riced out shitbox econo cars. giant suprise this movie might just suck more ass than the first one ...if that is even possible. :)

oops, actually I take that back there looks to be an orange Lotus esprit which if it is is actually a pretty cool car but most of the rest suck ;)

First invest 100000$ in a 15 grand econo box to make it as fast as a 50000$ sports car and then leave it to some whack-ass movie makers to trash them and to make sure everybody who watches the movie has a good laugh about those cars... Pepole watch those movies , and now every kid wants to race me on lights because he got some whack spoilers , a fart can , altezzas and a bunch of neon lights here and there on his 15 year old civic with even no vtec or stuff... Seem's like everyone has the same opinion on the movie.

f&f wasnt that bad, after all it probably made street racing more popular by about 100% or more. Personally, i am biased cos i love Supras and Skyline's from watchin JGTC.

BTW Tom, u like Porsches, u ever think of getting a 996? or an RS?

You know instead of having all these Weak Sause cars in F&F, they should have the main car in next one be a 3000gt VR4 cause i have to say i have never seen anything better than a 3000gt vr4 they have more potential then any import car i know, and there 4wd so while the other guy'z RWD cars are peeling out at the "go" my cars already done with the race.. no compition i tell u no compition :o

You're forget one big thing... 3000GT is way to heavy for racing... That's why it actually has competition and it isn't the fastest car... Skylines are faster... And not only skylines... And yeah i thought about it Peznzoil , i'm getting a new 996 Turbo with some tuning soon...

When are people gonna start making body kits for chevrolet cars besides the cavalier? I saw pics of a chevy lumina that looks like mine, but with a body kit and performance parts on it. I saw very few parts for the monte carlo, and for trucks, S-10 has kits, and some silverado. What about the chevy people that wanna put kits and performance parts on their rides?? :confused:
