1989 corvette running bad, need help

my 1989 corvette is running very weird.. need lots of help!
when i first start it it will run fine and drive fine as well. but when we park it and turn it off and let it sit four about a half and hour it will start then sputter and then die. i dont no what to do .. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

You don't say if it acts like it is running out of fuel, or if it starts back up after sputtering and dies;does it seem like it does it when the weather is warm, cold or when there is lots of moisture in the air? Could be that the fuel is running back down the fuel line and starving the engine. If you can be alittle more specific, might be able to help.

Sounds like fuel injectors or fuel pump going south. Keep us posted!

it is when the engine is like at about 200 degrees, and their is just about regular moisture in the air. the temperature is about 40 to 50 degrees out side. Thanks alot LawmanD.

Fuel pump relay,fuel filter? maf,tps sensors? Iac,egr sticking?Oil pressure /fuel pump switch. Distributor tach drive. burn off relay.

This is off the wall but make sure the ground bar is inside the distributor cap weird things hapen when it is left out. 59 Chevy

Does the service engine light come on. Have you checked for any codes. How does it run if you drive it for an hour. Do you have a fuel pressure guage.
