A few questions

Well, I got a few questions.

1) What gives more "bump", say, 2 strong 12" subs and a decent amplifier, or a strong amp and 2 decent 12" subs?

2) Say I got 2 Alpine Type R's, what kind of amp(s) should I get. How many watts, ohms, etc?

3)Anyone know of a good site to learn about car audio?

Danks.

depends on a lot of things.. mostly how efficient the subs in comparison would be and how much of a power difference we'd be talking abotu here..

BUT for the most part, without takign 20 minutes to explain this (thats were you go to bcae1.com) 2 decent subs, strong amp.

about the Type Rs.. depends on which model you have.. if it is the old ones (04 and earlier) then you wont need anything more than a few hunders watts.. however..

if youre talkign about the new 05-06 type rs, then youre gonna need quite a bit. i have 1600 rms between both of em and i think its just abotu right

(odds are im only gettin 500 watts to the coils, which is what theyre rated at but get an amp big enough to overcome impedance rise, etc.)
