I need help

I have a sony xplod cd deck (the 1 where the face flipps down) and I recently hooked up 2 6 by 9 speakers cuz my car doesnt have back speakers ne way about a week or so after I hooked up the speakers the left side of the deck stopped workin like the power button the volume button the source button and all the # buttons didnt work ne more then about 2 or 3 weeks later the right side stopped workin and the face doesnt flip up ne more but the lights still work the time works and I can still play cd's but I cant change ne thing. Do u think its fried or whut could be wrong with it?? This is sooo annoying!!!!!!!!:banghead: :feedback:

take the face off and look on the back of it, clean the gold contacts off with an eraser ...... then clean off the contacts where they mate with the unit still in the dash. They are probably just dirty.
