I had to replace the timing chain in a 302 but i didnt mark the vibration damper and i think it might be off now. To make matters worse i also messed up the timing marker pretty bad too, so if that could have helped, it isnt likely to now. In writing this though, im starting to wonder wasnt there a notch to assure it only went on one way? I havent bothered with it in some time so i cant recall at the moment. Any thoughts? Anyone?
