I push the button for the rear defroster switch and it clicks but no light comes on and it does not defrost the back window. can someone help me with a solution???? also my high beams do not work. i dont know if that would have anything to do with it.

You have any fuses or relays for the rear defrosters? Do the front defrosters work?

it is probably the relay or the switch. i would check the relay first. with ur heaad lights not working i would check for a fuse under the dash.
