I noticed when I stopped my car I had a major leak of antifreeze coming from my driver side. I hurried and got my car home. When i got home I checked underneath for the leak. I saw it wet but did not notice where it was coming from. It never started leaking again when i got home. I am very confused. Is there a way I can figure out where it is leaking? Or is there something I can purchase to stop the leak until I get it to a shop?

Antifreeze just doesn't blow out for no reason...What engine, 3.0 or 3.8?? 3.0 is a little easier to look around, 3.8 is packed in there pretty good.. maybe the leak is high up, coolant is low enough now not to be too obvious, original rad??? original hoses??? Seams on rad start leaking sometimes, or core.. busted or pinhole leaks in hoses??? You've got plenty of those, all possible candidates,, hopefully it's something simple, good luck

When you got home, the cooling system may have been empty and therefore would not leak any more.
Fill up the cooling system and pressurize. Pressure testers look like bicycle pumps and may be available for rent from an autoparts store.

I filled up my radiator agian. It did not take that much to fill it back up. Maybe a half a bottle of antifreeze. I ran the car for a little bit and there was not a leak. I even drove it around the block. I am lost. Now there is some antifreweze in my overflow and the radiator is still filled. There was a little smoke around the cap but I am thinking that was from adding the antifreeze. If anybody has any idea of what is going on or maybe I am crazy.

Wait until your car is stone cold, pull the rad cap fill it to the very top, re-install cap, open up the overflow bottle, fill it to the cold line, lower one, now when you drive for a good distance, check the overflow level, it should have moved up between hot and cold, when it cools down the level will drop somewhere back down around the cold line, give or take some, the overflow is part of the system, designed to keep air out, in theory lessens corrosion of the system, check for leaks every day until found or not.
