hi guys i got 2 questions, 1) how can i get to the crank sensor on my buick?; and 2) Will my lesabre run with it out, or do I have to replace it right away?

You need to pull the front pulley. The bolt is tough to get loose. Hold the engine with a good size screwdriver on the starter gear. Put a cheater bar on your breaker bar and get ready for a fight. Best to use an air impact wrench if you have access. be careful with the fins on the pulley that the sensors uses to tell how fast the engine is going. If you bend them they will be out of round and they will take your new sensor out.


No it will not run without a good crank sensor. The crank sensor times the spark and the injectors.
