ABS Light on!!!!!

My 99 Grand Cherokee ABS light keeps coming on and going off. It only seems to happen when i make the slightest turn of the wheel to the left....could a wire inside the colum be rubbing on something or could there really be a problem with my abs system.

It's very possible the clock spring inside is going, run a search in the archives here, you'll find several fixes.

I had the same problem with my 1997 GCL. It turned out the harness connected to the power brake/ABS assembly,one wire was loose from the harness. Then later the wiring was bent out of place by a mechanic. I had to pull the wires up a little and using a nylon tye to hold it up away from the engine.
