when I get in to my car first thing in a morning its not to bad but when it starts to warm up it gets worse mainly in 1,2,3 gears around 5000revs theres a flat spot it sort of feels like petrol is'nt gettin there

Are you sure that the butterfly in the Throttle Body (TB) is opening fully? Take the rubber tubing off of the TB and then manually work the TB linkage to ensure the butterfly is fully open (engine off of course). This MAY be a case of adjusting linkage to fully open the TB butterfly.
