I just purchased a fully chipped p28 ecu for my 16a engine..When I went to my mechanic to have him install it he told me that he would not be able to pull the codes from this ecu and I would have to buy an unchiped ecu. Can anyone tell me if he is just trying to get me to buy one from him so he can make money, or if I really need an unchipped ecu to pull my engine codes from? I appriciate any help I can get.
Also on another note...can anyone give me a list of code #'s and what they mean? Thanks
