i have an accord 03. i bought a remote on ebay but i don't know how to program it to work on my car. can someone help me?

I actually bought a remote for no reason. Honda won't allow me to buy my own remote to program for my '03 Accord. I went over to Honda and they said you had to buy a key for 15 dollars (the key without the remote) and you then have to program it, so you'll be able to turn on your car, and that would end up over 115 dollars for one cheap key. But if you wanted a remote key, you'd have to pay an extra 40 or something. And did I mention, that's the only way you can get an extra key? I am never buying a new Honda ever again.

So you can't use your remote? Why couldn't you just buy the $15 key and then hook it on the remote? I'm hoping I don't have a problem, but the person I'm buying from on ebay said I can return it if I can't program it. Very interesting. Thanks for the input
