Hi,
I just recently changed the rear drive shaft seal coming off the transfer case and it is still leaking slightly. Does anyone know what else I need to replace/fix?
Also, at around 110-120km/h there is a whinning and a very slight vibration in the steering wheel. This goes away when I let off the gas pedal. It happens in overdrive and when it is switched off.
Thanks guys.

I just took this piece of shit jeep to the dealership, because its now making weird loud noises when the 4x4 activates now that we got 25cm of snow over night.
Anyways, they tell me that the yolk on the rear drive shaft is probably causing the leaking if i have already replaced the seal. So if anyone has that problem, its either the Yolk is worn down or scratched up, or the seal is done.
Im waiting on a reply from the dealership tomorrow on the noise from 110-120km/h, I suspect its the front differential, since I have heard of this before, and since they build these things so shitty!
I will also post up what is wrong with my 4x4 unit and the weird noise it makes when engaging.
PS, I will never buy another Dodge piece of shit again. I had an Acura Integra before this, and I drove the shit out of it for 3 years and never had a single problem. I wont even sell this jeep to my friend who wants it because I know it will probably fall apart and he would be pissed at me.
I can't believe I bought this thing, I didn't think they were this big of a pile crap! :banghead:

Just got back from the dealership.
$5500 to fix the differentials and transfer case, they said it needs new seals and bearings front and rear amoung other things.
The transfer case is messed according to them. They took an oil sample which is supposed to be red, it was black with metallic fillings in it. They dont know what is wrong with it unless they take it off, and are trying to get me to buy a new transfer case for $2500.
This is the biggest piece of shit I have ever bought. I will probably never buy domestic again!
