i have a 90 240 and it will compression start but wont turn over with the key. it doesnt click or anything like the battery is dead. I have a question about a relay. I swithched it out with another one but it still is clicking so i think i have a bad ground. The relay is in the box by the drivers side headlight. It is in the upper left corner and says "acc/diff. oil" can anyone tell me what this is for. thanks for your help

K not totaly sure but i might have same problem. If it is the same some of the wires below steering wheel might have lose connection try to move them around see if that helps, it does for me i bet one of them or few are broken so they dont make right conection or any at all try that and see if it helps. Im gona be checking all my wiring sometime soon couse it keeps on eather turning off while im driving like if I turn ignition off or doesnt start untill i move some wires around.

check to make sure the clamps on the battery terminals are tight, I remember mine wouldnt start b/c they were loose and I ended up starting it by rolling down a hill...then I was like oops

yeah nizzan is known for those crappy clamps not on tight enough. i would just go ahead and replace those whille your at it :banghead:

thanx for the help but i figured it out. my interlock relay wasnt workin and only got power to the starter sometimes so i jumped the acc wire with the starter wire. then i pulled the starter apart and the brushes had bad contact point so i just ended up replacing it.
