On the inside I turn it on and sometimes it flashes then it does a bzzzzd sound and turns off. It will then not work for a bit. Then the next time it works for a while. Not consistent. Is it relay or flasher burnt or burning? HELP!!!! I had a crazy turning signal for a while, and I had no idea what was wrong, until a guy at the Autozone told me it was probably the flasher, so I bought the cheapest one they got, which happens to be fantastic because it works but the click noise it does is very faint, which to me is great. It's in the fuse panel under the dashboard, it's like a silver short cylinder. You just have to pull it out and put the new one in, and you're set. Since the flasher is very cheap (around 2 bucks I believe) you might want to try that first. lulubud1998 02-27-2006, 10:47 AM Thanks for your help. I must say that changing the flasher indeed worked and I did get the cheaper one so I do not have the indicator sound. But man it was fun to get at...argh. pdlee123 02-28-2006, 08:49 AM I've bought my new flasher but can't seem to find where the old one is in the car. Sebaz, you say it's in the fuse panel. Is this the box that's behind the fuse panel which swings down next to the emergency brake? If not, can you tell me where to find it. If it is that box, can you tell me how to get into it? Thanks for the help! (Lulebud1998, you hit it right on the head....argh) lulubud1998 02-28-2006, 10:14 AM I emailed you where to find the flasher pdlee. Its not in the box. It's up under the dash. If you were able to get at it from the vent it would be easier but that's not the case. You have to be a contortsinist to get at it. Lay upside down with your head between your brake and emergancy brake. I put the e-brake on for more room. Flip your fuse panel in the down position and reach up beyond the wires and stuff in the dash. You would think that the flasher was connected to the steering column but you might see a silver or black flasher pull it down. I didn't bother putting it way back up there after changing it.
