Depends on the oil, the owners manual, etc. When I had my 3.7L Ram, I used Amsoil and was changing every 7500 miles. Mostly highway you should be good with 5000 with almost any oil.

If you want to go in-depth about oil, oil change intervals, and such, check out: www.bobistheoilguy.com there is TOO MUCH information there, but by looking through the website I arrived at the 7500 mile decision. Worth a look.

Sorry...so to answer your question, free oil changes every 5000 is a good deal, but make sure they're putting in the correct oil.

Alot depends on what part of the country you are in. If you have cold winters every 3000. Personally I change every 3000 no matter what. If you do it yourself you can change for $15 or quick lube for $25. Small price to pay to play it safe

Until I went on that website, I was a 3000 mile changer too, and 2500 miles on older cars.
