ok dudes, my sl started to vibrate at 65 mph and above (steering wheel)and the whole car at higher speeds.got the wheels balanced, didnt help.then when i went to my mechanic,he told me that the tires (with 10,000 miles only and good tread depth) were wearing out uneven thus the shaking. Also went to the dealership, they checked the engine mounts and came up with nothing.now i finally purchased new tires, but alas the problem persists.I am really pissed and frustrated, any help would be appreciated.some barin storming please..........

Do you have an Aftermarket suspenssion set up. this could cause this if they aren't adjusted properly or are unsuitable for your car......

In the order or increasing cost if you already changed and balanced the tires:

1. Alignment is off
2. Steering tie rods are worn
3. Ball joints on lower control arms are worn.
