Hi all,
I have a problem and hope someone can help. My '06 Silverado came with Power Windows and Locks but not keyless entry. I bought a Passenger Side combo GM OEM switch with the power window, power lock and keyless entry radio receiver in it to swap out. the E-Bay ad said it would work fine, and it did at first. The two OEM remotes worked perfectly after I installed the new switch (and they still do). The problem came when I drove the truck for the first time after the install. The 'Service Tire Monitor' light came on. I don't even have the Tire Monitor system on my truck (a rather bare bones model).
I've tried re-contacting the seller of the 'kit', but he hasn't responded. Before I take it to the dealer, I was hoping someone out there could help.
Thanks,
Tim, Sunny AZ

I didn't know that there was such ' service tire monitor' on these trucks, matter of fact any trucks, err, vehicles......What would you monitor, the air pressure in your tires? I think you made a mistake, maybe you confused another service light?
